Homeschooling is a type of education where passion towards learning can be brought with ease and without stress and I am sure that homeschooling students do better in academics than the normal school goers because they learn the education as an experience and relate it with affairs taking place socially. As a student educated in the homeschooling family process I would like to share my enlightened homeschooling journey.
The reason why our family homeschooled is because of the fact that my family members are my teachers and they know how I could understand things and can help me in making well versed in it.
There many things which are memorable in my homeschooling days and the first thing that strikes my mind is the field trip which we went to the technical museum nearby. The museum had prototypes of all science related things and the trip was very useful and enjoyable.
The second thing that strikes my mind is the Home school celebration of the Christmas Eve where we invited all the kids nearby our home and not just celebrated Christmas but explained the reason behind the celebration of it and many other things like that. We conducted small games and gave gifts for them and I could remember that I won in the musical chair which took place at that time. Then we had dinner and wished the everyone a great year ahead in advance.
The great advantage of homeschooling is that we are free to think and execute new ideas and I did a small robotic moving arm and displayed it in the project completion. Many older than me attended the project but because my idea was new at that time all appreciated it and the committee gave me the first prize too.
The games we played in the evening like chess helped me to be mentally strong. We would go cycling in the evening with the friends nearby and this helped my body to be strong als.
But if I was in regular schooling I could not find time for such activities and I am thankful to my family for giving me such a great schooling experience and education.
