Christian Light Education

Christian Light Education is a Christian based curriculum designed to meet your child's level of learning whether they are fast learning or slow. The student works at their own pace and does not move ahead until the concept is mastered.

One of the strengths of CLE is that it uses the spiral approach of learning where it goes back to a previously learned concept and incorporates it into the new concept rather than sitting on a concept until the student is weary of learning it.
This curriculum can be used as a complete package or alongside other material if you decide on an eclectic approach.

Each subject is divided into 10 LightUnits with a test after each book. There are 6 major subjects; Bible, Reading, Maths, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies along with a number of electives for your high school child.

Meeting NSW OBOS Requirements

From their website, we read, "The teachers in Unit 1 use a Biblical based curriculum including workbooks and educational resources produced by the College, and other commercial resources and materials in order to provide an academic program to meet ACARA National Standards.
For students entering the senior phase of learning, teachers offer career counselling, vocational education, clear paths to TAFE, University or the workforce, SAT1 preparation support, QLD Certificate in Education and endorsed work experience (school-based apprenticeships and traineeships). "

I believe that any curriculum can easily be used to satisfy the NSW BOS Standards.
